I went to the dealership in person and called them, but I didn't get any response. It has been 10 months now, and I still haven't heard back from Windward Dodge Chrysler Jeep. This is not fair, and as customers, we deserve better treatment. My VW Tiguan was paid off many years ago, and I should be receiving a decent amount as a refund. They are not cooperating with me, so I need assistance in resolving this issue. Please help me settle this matter.

I paid my truck off in mid-October from Windward Dodge. Around early November, I went in to show that I paid my truck off. According to my financial consultant at ***, I never used all my Gap, so I should get a refund of around $500. So, after I filed the paperwork at Windward Dodge, the finance worker said I should expect a check within 6-8 weeks. So, I waited and never received a call. I called the financial department at Windward Dodge multiple times, but no one would answer. I would be on hold for a long time, sometimes 30 minutes, with no one picking up. So, around mid-***, which was about 8 weeks, I decided to go to Windward Dodge. I got there, and he told me that they were backed up. He said that if I never got a call in 2 weeks that my check has come in, then I should call the number. I waited 2 more weeks with still no call from them. So, I tried calling them again, but still no answer from Windward Dodge.

I bought a 2016 car from Windward Dodge Chrysler Jeep in March . It had around 2100 miles on it. I was worried about the warranty because the vehicle was fairly new. Multiple people assured me that since it was a pre-owned car, I would still get the original warranty as if it were new, just for 5 years instead of 10. I made sure to confirm with each person that my 5-year/60,000-mile warranty would start on the day I bought the car.
Recently, I had to take the car in to fix the trunk, which wouldn't close. At first, they were going to charge me for the repair until I made a fuss in front of other people. I also asked for copies of the warranty because they didn't provide them when I purchased the car. To my surprise, I was told that my warranty would expire in 4 months. But I've only had the car for 16 months...how is this possible? I explained that I should have a 5-year warranty because I bought the car in March .
They finally showed me a copy of the warranty that I was never given, and it stated that the coverage lasts for 5 years from November , based on the first owner's purchase date. I was not happy to hear this. If I had known the warranty was only for about 21 months, I wouldn't have taken the car in the first place. It's frustrating that they misled me initially.
Now they're offering me the option to purchase an extended warranty. Why wasn't this offered to me back in March ? I assumed I was covered for 5 years, or at least that's what I was told. This is completely unacceptable and terrible customer service. This is the second vehicle I've bought from this dealership, and both experiences have been awful. I can't trust this place. They are dishonest from the beginning and only provide important information after the fact. If I have a choice, I will never do business with them again.
