Westlake Portfolio Management review: Repossession of automobile that was paid for

I paid off our automobile under American Car Insurance. I never recieved a title. They told me I had to pay 3000.00 dollars to get my title. I know a title doesn't cost that. Later they closed the dealership and a new company took over. It took months before we heard from Westlake Portfolio Management. We explained to them that the car was paid for and we wanted our title. Next thing we knew our car was gone from our driveway on August 17, 2023. They told us why did we call them. They didn't have record that had repossessed the car. Now they want money to retrieve the car or it will be sold. A scam is what it is.
