Duplicate file/photo deletion software
I see they have ten unresolved complaints here, but I guess I'll try anyway. Bad experience with the software and then when I requested a refund I got lectured about the "tone" of my email. It did NOT take out all the duplicate files and I immediately started having weird problems in my computer and I had to call tech support. Customer service claimed they...

So, I was looking for a way to clean up my photo collection and stumbled upon WebMinds. I decided to give their Duplicate Photo Cleaner a try, without really checking out the site first. Big mistake! When I installed the software, it seemed to be working fine at first. But then, it got stuck at 99% and just wouldn't budge. I waited for days, hoping it would eventually finish, but no luck.
I finally decided to reach out to their tech support team for help. And boy, was I disappointed! All I got was a short, five-word response that didn't really help me at all. I tried to follow up with them, but they never responded.
Honestly, I feel like I got scammed by this company. The software didn't work, and their customer service was terrible. I would definitely recommend staying away from WebMinds and their products. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reliable option.
Beware of Expiration Dates and Malware Warnings: A Review of WebMinds Software
WebMinds is a software company that offers a variety of programs to help with computer maintenance and organization. However, be warned that some of their programs have an expiration date that is not clearly stated before purchase. This can be frustrating for users who have already invested in the software and then find out they need to purchase it again after a year.
Additionally, some users have reported receiving a Malwarebytes trojan warning when trying to access certain pages on the WebMinds website. This can be concerning for those who are worried about the security of their computer and personal information.
Despite these issues, WebMinds does offer some useful programs for those looking to clean up their computer and improve its performance. Their software can help with tasks such as deleting duplicate files, organizing photos, and managing bookmarks.
Overall, if you are considering purchasing software from WebMinds, be sure to do your research and read reviews from other users. While some of their programs may be helpful, it's important to be aware of any potential issues before making a purchase.

Beware of WebMinds: A Scamming Software Sales Company
WebMinds is a company that you should be careful with. They have a sneaky way of selling you things that you don't need. They will bundle your promo with other useless utilities, and before you know it, you will be paying three times the price that you thought you would be paying.
If you think that you can get a refund, think again. They promise refunds, but they never actually give them. It's a scam, and they are the worst bunch of software salesmen that I have ever dealt with.
I lost a lot of money dealing with WebMinds, and it was a hard lesson to learn. They are just one example of how salesmen use the internet to steal from unsuspecting people. Be careful when dealing with them, and make sure that you read the fine print before you agree to anything.
WebMinds CD: A Pricey But Effective Solution for Computer Problems
I got this thing from WebMinds a few months back, but I didn't get around to putting it on my computer until just now. And let me tell you, I wish I had done it sooner! My computer was getting all kinds of pop-ups and it was driving me crazy. I took it to a tech place and they said there was all kinds of bad stuff on it. But luckily, I had the WebMinds CD with me and they were able to use it to clean up my computer.
Now, I gotta be real with you, the CD was a little pricey. I paid $70 for it, which is a lot of money if you ask me. And on top of that, I had to pay for the tech assistance to get everything fixed up. But honestly, it was worth it. My computer is running so much better now and I don't have to deal with all those annoying pop-ups anymore.
The only downside is that I tried to get a refund from WebMinds and they didn't respond to me. That's a bummer, but I guess it's not the end of the world. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend WebMinds to anyone who's having computer problems. It might cost a little extra, but it's totally worth it in the end.
Beware of WebMinds: Sneaky Charges and Poor App Performance
Watch out, folks. This company, WebMinds, has a download app that costs $9.95 US dollars, but they sneakily add other things you didn't ask for and charge you $36 US dollars. I fell for it, and so did Berni C. We both tried to get our money back, but no luck. Another reviewer even had trouble with the app itself - it deleted important files from his hard drive! So, if you do decide to keep the app, be careful.
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with WebMinds. I thought I was getting a good deal, but instead I got ripped off. It's not fair that they can just add things to my purchase without my permission and charge me more. And then, when I try to get my money back, they ignore me. It's just not right.
I hope this review helps someone else avoid the same mistake I made. Don't trust WebMinds - they're not looking out for you.
Scammed by Duplicate Photo Cleaner: No License Key, No Customer Service
I bought the upgrade from the trial version to delete duplicate photos. I got my payment receipt but no license key. I opened 2 tickets and asked for 3 links to access my account but haven't heard anything back. No link resets, no tickets answered, no license key. This company doesn't reply to any requests but they're quick to take your money. Their customer service is very bad. I feel like I've just been scammed. I'm really disappointed with their service.
WebMinds' Duplicate Photo Finder: Overpriced and Unwanted Bundles
I bought the Duplicate Photo Finder software from WebMinds and they charged me $69.85. They also bundled it with other programs and a two year license that I didn't want. I tried to get a refund, but they ignored me. When I complained to Discover, they argued with them. I didn't have the time or energy to keep fighting, so I gave up. I never even got to try the software, so I can't say if it's good or bad. All I can say is that you should avoid doing business with this company.
WebMinds Software Review: Overpriced and Ineffective
So, I bought this software from WebMinds for $40, but they charged me $70. I was pretty upset about it and contacted their support team right away. Luckily, they did give me a refund, but it was still a hassle.
After that, I tried using the software to clean up my files. It was supposed to find duplicates, but out of 30,000 files, it missed 6,000. I was pretty disappointed and asked for a refund again. They told me to try a second scan and said that 80% is "pretty good" for a first scan. But I don't think that's good enough for $40.
I asked for a refund again, but this time they refused. It's frustrating because even PayPal didn't help me out. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from WebMinds. It's just not worth it.
WebMinds Review: Products Don't Work & No Refund Response
I've been trying to get a refund from WebMinds (webminds.com) since December 25th, 2022 because their products just don't work for me. But it seems like they're ignoring my messages and not responding at all.
One of the biggest issues I have with their product is that you can't use the keyboard to quickly check or uncheck files. Instead, you have to search for each tiny checkbox with your mouse cursor, which is a huge pain. And even worse, you can't review the files and select them with the space or enter key.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience with WebMinds. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't work and then not be able to get a refund or any kind of response from the company. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
WebMinds Review: Terrible Service, but Issue Resolved with Refund
So, I had to open up another ticket to get my issue resolved with WebMinds. I was so frustrated with their terrible service that I decided to write an honest review about it. I mean, come on, I shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops just to get my problem fixed, right? Anyway, I made it clear that I wasn't going to let the matter drop and that's when I finally received a reply from them. They promised me a refund and I have to say, it was a speedy reply.
Now, don't get me wrong, the service was still dire and I shouldn't have had to go through all of this just to get my money back. But, I am happy to report that the money owed has been replaced in my bank account. So, I guess I'll give them 3 stars for finally resolving my issue.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend WebMinds to anyone. Their service is terrible and it's just not worth the hassle. But, if you do happen to have an issue with them, just be persistent and don't let them get away with it. Eventually, they'll have to do the right thing and fix the problem.
