Like many disappointed customers of WebcreationUK I have been very very disappointed with the service and mentality of their staff. They don’t respond to emails. The designs they do are of poor quality. The sales team promises you everything verbally and then they don’t deliver.

WebcreationUK is also a company that hides behind the small print. They do not make you aware at the point of sale that the websites are designed in India. You can’t actually talk with the designer and the deposit payment is none refundable. Like so many other people they have taken my deposit and I have nothing to show for it. In my view webcreationUK are unprofessional, immoral and it’s a scam.

I appointed them last year and I don’t even have a home page yet. I have tried to get a refund and they do not refund.

Please do your research about them. Just Google “WebcreationUK problems” and see all the people they have done this too!

They are cow boy website designers. They take your money and run! We are a small business trying to survive in a tough business climate and they are an awful company. Out to rip people off

I to wish I read the above comments before agreeing to use this awful company. They have refused to respond to emails, could not understand what I thought were simple requests, and have been advised by others in the industry since that they were simple. I for one will be taking them to Court for breach of contract as their contract states " Webcreation Uk Ltd will acknowledge all emails within 3 working days". I have email requests that are over 6 weeks old, and that is after their so called support team in the UK got involved to try and solve the issues.
In short, if you want to waste your money, be treated badly, ignored, receive poor quality work and have your valuable time wasted, then use Webcreation Uk, as you will not be disappointed.

I think to say we creation uk are giving 'India' a bad name or we are responses are. There are bad designers everywhere in the world but there are also very good designers in India. Its the management of the company that makes the difference. I use India to outsource some of my data collection and i have had bad workers and great workers. Webcreation and its ethics along with poor management is the problem here, lets try not to attack India its not 'INDIAS' fault its the fault of the UK company that has no desire to deliver a quality service.

I am a web content writer for a UK based website design company www.whichdoor.co.uk and they always produce designs without prepayment based on the principle that if you don't like the design, you don't pay. This approach gets them lots of clients and naturally no web design company is going to offer that service unless they consider themselves to be very good. I think anyone wanting a website should ask for the designer to produce their concepts in this way because at least no one loses financially.

I never have an injection if I need a tooth filled and most dentists are surprised when I tell them I don't want it. They always ask if I want the jab and I always respond "Why do you think you're going to hurt me". They then exercise the type of care that they had to when they were are Dental College because actually if a filling is done correctly it doesn't hurt.

If web designers have confidence in what they do, the same principle should apply!

I can now confirm that Lustrumlight intend to proceed with court action against Webcreation Uk. This is a very manipulative company - please see www.reviewcentre.com A big thank you to all those dissatisfied customers who have registered interest.

Having nearly torn my hair out over this company I decided to Google them and was amazed to see so many complaints. It looks like there are so many of us in the same boat. I could kick myself for nor researching this company before commissioning them to build our web site but the sales guy sounded so genuine and helpful, in fact it sounded too good to be true and you know what they say about that! They have been working on my site for well over 18 months and I have just about got a Home Page but the rest of it is dreadful and the checkout is a complete mess. There is no way I can allow it to go live. There are so many mistakes on it as well. I am now on my 4th developer and the current ones never know what the previous ones have done hence the mess it's in. The other annoying thing is that you are only able to contact the developer for 2 hours in the morning due to the time difference and most of the emails state they will get back to me. This usually takes at least 2 days if not more. I was never informed the site would be developed in India. I read about an Action Group and wondered if anyone knew anything about it and how to sign up. I have paid 75% of the fees (around £1, 500) but loathe to pay them anymore. I just want to get a refund and go to a professional company in the UK to get another site done. I will be ringing Trading Standards tomorrow as suggested on the forum site but would like to know if anyone is taking it further or will persevere with them. It's so difficult when so much money has been paid out - we are only a small business (my partner and I) so can't afford to wipe off £1, 500 and go away (although I'm sure that's what WC would like us to do).
Any help, advice or info on action taken against the company would be much appreciated.

An action group has been set up against this company. I would urge everyone to lodge their complaint at Consumer Direct [protected]) who will keep Trading Standards (Wiltshire) informed.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER use webcreationuk.com or their new sister site www.webcreationus.com ( md the same guy Leon Millard). My experience is the same as everyone else's... indian developers, no project plans, no attention to detail, haphazzard updates with some things done and not others, not able to speak to them. So far I have been at it for 18 months and in the last four months in attempt to get my small brochure site I have sent well over 150 emails trying to get action, running the project for them... still no site and hardly any progress.

I am going to keep at it but I really don't think I will get a site in the end having spent thousands and chewed my time.

Stay clear would me advice, almost anyone else would be better.
Never ever use www.webcreationuk.com or www.webcreationus.com you'll end up frustrated and annoyed like me. Steer clear.

Hi there,

My company is the latest victim of Webcreation UK. Is anyone willing to take action against this company in the form of legal proceedings?
If so, please email iris@lustrumlight.co.uk

Many thanks

Same here - I tried to make it work for almost 6 months. Everything that came back was absolute rubbish. Cheaply cobbled together and badly executed. Not the fault of the people you actual work with though. They sit somewhere in their home in India and work on something they're not qualified (or supported) for. No direct contact, no brief was passed on, endless misunderstandings (... and we are software programmers outselves who work with India on a regular basis...) We ended up sending them code we sourced on the internet to get them do bits and bobs. The first quote was actually NOT that cheap for what we wanted but we should have been suspicous about the list of small-print. Site never went further than first design (if you can call it that) - didn't get our deposit back either - a four digit sum. Avoid!

I agree 100% I had the same problems. Dont believe you will actually own the site you pay for, you will not. It is impossible to transfer it. They tells you anything to get you to pay a deposit then they drop you like a stine, your site will be down more than its on line Trust me. Avoid them, there are lots of decent companies that are cheaper and 100 times better
