I just had a terrible incident at 1 of your locations. I purchased 4 of the same batteries for 2 of my fleet trucks a few weeks ago from your sumner store. As I was changing the batteries out, I realized 2 of them did not have the threads on top, so I couldn't complete my replacement. So I went back to the Sumner store and told Melissa the Manager what had happened. While she was looking up my account "to see who was responsible for the mistake", she kept saying, "who am I going to kill" over and over. Until she found out it was Matt. She then took several minutes wondering the store researching her inventory. After waiting about ten minutes, she told me from behind a wall, "I guess I'll have to trust you". I said "Excuse me...what do you mean by that"? And then she replied "Well...you could have stole them". I was taken a back by that. At first I didn't know what to say. But then she said meet me in the back, and then I told her I didn't appreciate being told I might have stole the 2 mistaken batteries. She quickly stated she never said "I stole them", but clearly the intent was already stated. We argued for a bit about whether she said that or not, and I took my replacement batteries and left...livid! There were at least 2 other employees that heard the whole incident. I am absolutely appalled by how one of your managers treated me. I own a fleet of trucks, and buy all of my batteries from Oreillys. That will be changing!
