I've always recommended O'Reilly's because of the customer service I've received there. They've recently changed my wiper blades, in the rain. And changed out a battery for my husband on a 2016 Chevrolet 2500(a GM product).
I sent my daughter the Fitzgerald, GA store for a battery check on 4/22/23. They did, in fact, check her battery and told her that it was bad. However, her car is a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban and they both employees stated that they would not change the battery on a GM product because it would take 30 minutes. Then, they didn't even close the hood on her vehicle.
There were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the store.
I'm extremely disappointed because they are better than this. I've NEVER received this kind of service there before or at any of your stores.
Company policy does not allow an employee to change the battery if the computer tells them a professional has to do it due to the fuses on the terminals on newer vehicles, or some could need programming after installing something oreilly cant fix. Whoever installed it on the 2016 2500 ran the risk of the vehicle not turning on and need programming.
