I bought a washer in store on 12/28/15 in at HD Manassas, VA. Home delivery was scheduled for 1/2/16. Delivery man brings unit into my home, hooks up the unit, we sign for delivery and then he hands us some parts and tells us the washer is broken and someone will be in touch as he is walking out the door. I immediately call HD store and am told that someone in appliances will call me tomorrow morning. That doesn't happen. I call the store again and am told that HD's police is that I CALL LG, imagine that HD sells the unit and then strong arms you off to its vendor after they take your MONEY. I call LG and LG wants to fix the unit they delivered broken. I'm enraged, I spent a lot of money on a new washer not a reconditioned unit. I call HD again and now they say they have talked to LG and that we will receive a new unit and will be called within 48 hours, that it is being expedited. The broken unit has been sitting in my house for 5 going on 6 days now and I have yet to hear from HD or LG about when a new washer will be coming. I have spent a lot of money at HD over the decades and I can tell you I would have a very hard time trusting HD after this. HD points the finger at LG and then strong arms you off to ITS vendor, the vendor they have a contractual relationship with to fend for yourself. So here we sit with laundry pilling high as its been going on a week and no washer in sight. If this is HD's idea of customer service I can see why they are losing customers and market share to Lowes.
