I recently bought a wheel and tire for a full size spare for my teenager. When I got the tire I was handed lug nuts and told these must be used on this tire. Fast forward, My teen had a flat and changed the tire. He noticed a wobbling and just didn't feel right. We take the car on Saturday July 9th to the location I bought it from 3115 S. IH35 in Round Rock TX. They informed me at THAT time that there are 2 lug patterns on the wheel and that the tire was on the wrong one. I was not informed of this when I got the wheel and nothing was marked indicating that it should be on a certain pattern. The tech asked me if anyone told us (which they hadn't. Just to use the specific lug nuts.) So the tech took one lug off and it popped off and he said "See that? we cant even take it off, oh and by the way this is the wrong size tire on the rim". So not only were we not told that the tire needed to be put on a specific pattern, we also got the wrong size tire. The manager sent us to Rush Automotive in Round Rock Tx for the hub to be repaired. I had to get a rental car so my son could use my car because he works and goes to college and HAS TO have transportation. I am asking to be reimbursed for the rental due to your company messing up my car and forcing me to get another mode of transportation to get to work.
