I have been trying to pick up prescriptions for the last 3 days at CVS Pharmacy, 1010 17 North, North Myrtle Beach, SC. Each time I go I and wait I have wasted precious time and end up having to leave because the line moves very slowly.
The days were July 6th, 7th and 8th, 2023.
I am a caregiver for my husband so I have limited time to be out running errands.
The lines are so long with one employee and the drive up window is closed a lot more than open.
I saw two of the pharmacy employees in the store talking, possibly on break? But with the amount of people waiting, I do not understand.

Desired outcome: Whatever it takes for your company to properly run the pharmacy with staff.Keep the drive thru window open and explain to me, please, why this is a continuous issue. It hasn't been this bad but has been going on a very long time.
CVS - pharmacy tech and pharmacist
We went to cvs (store # 7396) after leaving er.. They stated 1 hour wait for meds for my husband he was frustrated for the hour wait and tried to state so but could only mumble and could hardly talk since he has a major abscess.. I explained to them we just came from er.. Can we get meds filled faster (since all 5 folks in pharmacy were sitting around talking, which I did not say).. I was kind, the tech told the pharmacist my husband was nasty and cursing which he was not.. He could hardly speak.. I told her maybe she misunderstood due to the fact he is mumbling due to abscess. She started cusring at us as well as pharmacists... We took out business elsewhere and we will stay with new pharmacy they filled his meds in 10 mins..in a way it was a blessing we found a new pharmacy with better service.. Cvs is horrible
