Taco Bell - Corporation and management

I just filed a complaint with Taco Bell in Johnston RI 02929 regarding a bad interview experience with Kevin Goncalves and Owners. They brought me in for a joke to interview me when they didn't need me and then offered a free dinner. I was sincerley looking for work and traveled one hour. An acquaintance recommended me and they had my resume which had extensive experience in food services and management. They knew they couldn't use me and brought me in to infer I wanted the Manager's position. I just wanted the opportunity to get back working after a hiatus from employment due to a family issue.

I just felt like they assumed my time was not important. I have been employed as a Staffer for a professional employment firm and would never drag anyone to interview or meet when I have no intention to employ them. The owners were there and I was not introduced to them and the Manager kept running to the management office and back to the vestibule during this mock interview. As I said, I wrote a complaint but it was not posted. Are you covering for a lack of professionalism? This company is not so good. Someone should correct those Franchise owners and Manager!

Desired outcome: Address the lack of Professionalism by Kevin Goncalves and Franchise Owners

An aquaintance, Tikka told me she was a Manager for Taco Bell, in Johnston, RI and suggested that I apply. I did online through Indeed, com as she suggested. My application is extensive in that I have much food service and management experience.
I called to find out that she is not the manager, but a Kevin Goncalves is. I left a message. I received a telephone call at 8 in the morning from a man saying he was the woman, Tikka who referred me, come to find out it was Kevin the Manager. I called him when he said he would be in, told him I applied and my availability and he told me to come in for an interview.
The next day I traveled 45 minutes by taking two buses to find out he was not interested in me at all but to surprise me that he was the Manager not Tikka and then imply I wanted his position. I had told him via phone that I could work only until 9pm but when I arrived he told me that he needed people until 2 am. Essentially, he brought me in for nothing. And the owners of the franchise ( I assumed they were) were present but he did not introduce me to them but only asked me if I wanted to eat dinner.
I have loads of experience, did not want his job but took an acquaintance's advice by applying to see if they had a need, as I would take a position to get back into the workforce after and extensive hiatus due to a family hardship.
I have extensive staffing and hr experience and will tell you I never felt so disrespected in my life. Offering dinner is sweet, however I was there strictly on business and I would never bring any applicant in for nothing or for a joke that he wasn't Tikka. Never! I would simply tell the woman that her friend was mistaken, she is not the Manager and I do not have a postion for someone with your background, however, I will keep your app on file for future reference and thank you for your interest. I would say this over the phone and not drag someone in for nothing, regardless of level of experience.
It was like a joke! The owners and manager implied "This is the Manager and we don't need anyone .And who do you think you are believing you can just jump into a management position. Also, Kevin Goncalves made me wait for the interview after 3:30 (the scheduled time interview time) and would go back and forth from the vestibule to his work station. Whoever tipped the Owners off to do this to an elder experienced woman is a real Jerk! I would never frequent this most insulting establishement regardless of how great the food and service is!

Majority of Taco Bells have drive thru only because they claim their restaurants are under staffed and why no one can eat inside their restaurants in the last two months at many of the RI and MA locations. Reading these stories are quite disturbing. Are they now not hiring/not taking applicants seriously because this corporation is gonna close up shop? Something just isn't adding up lately about Taco Bell.
