Easy Spirit

I purchased a pair of gray Easy Spirit Women's AP1 Sport Walking Shoes approximately 3 months ago. I got something on them & so I washed them & the soles of both pair came off. I have had many pair of this particular shoe & washed them many times & nothing like this ever happened. Can you possibly explain to me what might have happened & is there a possibility I can have them replaced. They were a size 6, regular width. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
