5/9/23 7:40 pm I arrived at the pharmacy inside the store (Phoenixville PA) to obtain medication for my double eye infection and acute sinusitis. I coughed into a tissue and when I asked about my eye medication prescription was told it needed prior insurance authorization. My comment was thank you as I am quite ill. I walked away the gentleman behind me started to complain that I coughed, and the pharmacy tech said if I would have said anything about her cough I would have gotten in trouble. He proceeded to laugh and repeat that I said I was quite ill with other customers in line to pick up medication. Laughing and saying I don't know why she would come in here. I walked back and said that I didn't appreciate being laughed at, I do not have covid, I have a double eye infection and acute sinusitis and I didn't appreciate being made fun of. Then I decided to tell him to [censored] off and left the store. I will not return here again. I am a health care professional and I work for a large health care provider in the Great Philadelphia area. I did not appreciate how I was treated even though I had walked away. He needed to keep his mouth shut which is obviously a problem he had been called out on before. He was a white male with white hair. Unfortunately, his name does not appear on the sales receipt, as it says Stephanie who I met Sunday very pleasant and professional.
Desired outcome: I believe this individual needs to be spoken to about being professional and kind to the customers.
