My 19 Kia Optima had two blowout tires and was towed to Mavis, Hanover, PA. on June 24, 2023. The manager (Dan M.) advised me that the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. He stated that this needed to be completed asap. He also advised me that the alignment of the vehicle was fine. The tires that he put on were not the correct tires but an inexpensive brand that didn't match the tires that I had placed on at another Mavis Tire, Washington, NJ.
I ordered new rims and also had the vehicle checked in my local area. They advised me that the rims were NOT bent but the weights were set to make it feel like it had a wobble to it.
Due to this, I am out a significant amount of money because I had to purchase new wheels and also get them placed on the vehicle. I was also advised by my shop that the vehicle did need alignment, as I knew by the way it drove.
Desired outcome: I am out of pocket quite a bit due to the lies of the store manager. I need to recoup some of that cost due to his lies.
