CVS

I am an employee of Brookhaven Police Department, Brookhaven, PA. We have answered numerous retail theft cases over the years for the Brookhaven Store. EVERY TIME a court case comes up for an arrest none of the employees that reported the crime show up for court.

They are always notified but fail to come to court and the judge has no recourse but to throw the case out.

In the future if the witnesses do not show up for court, please advise them not to call us when a retail theft occurs.

We usually get a couple of calls per month at this CVS and its takes officers time and paperwork which turns out to be useless.

Thank you for any help you can give. It would be appreciated if you could advise your employees to cooperate with the police department.
