On September 23, 2015 around 8:30-8:40 I went into the store to purchase a lottery ticket and scratch off ticket for the first time. As I go to purchase the tickets with my debit card the clerk tells me that I can't use a credit card and that next time I should read the sign. In the place that he pointed there was no sign. I told the clerk that I didn't see a sign and he starts cursing me out, picking up the phone as if he was about to call the police, and called me a [censored] in front of another lady customer. I stood there in shock and told him to have a nice day and he kept fussing and telling me to leave. There was a bank across the street that I have an account with, but it hall transpired so fast that I didn't even have time to tell him that I would go the bank and purchase them. He was so rude and ugly to me and I have no idea where it came from. I honestly didn't know I couldn't pay with my debit card because I had never purchased a lottery ticket before.
