I had to rent a cargo van from Home Depot (I didn't know the Richmond Rd. Store location did not offer delivery) (I had already paid for my items), to make a pickup for two floor lamps that are alike one was a clearance item the other was brand new in a box, (2) regular size chairs and (3) counter top size chairs which are clearance items also. Upon arrival for the pickup, the loading department clerk couldn't find my order which delayed my pickup about 30-40 minutes, when he finally loaded the items and I was halfway home, I realized he forgot the lampshade that he took off the clearance lamp when he wrapped it (another delay), I had to turn around and go back, When I open the box of the floor lamp, once I made it home, the glass underneath the foam was shattered into a thousand pieces, the box had never been opened. I was highly disappointed. My problem is I would have to rent another van to return the damaged lamp brand new in the box and to pay for delivery for the replacement lamp that Ms LaShae said she could order when I talked to her the day of the incident. I asked to speak to a manager and was giving the run around and told no supervisor or manager was there that evening to call back the next day on Sunday 12/12/2021, finally I talked to Ms Allison after being on hold for 20 minutes twice, then was told she would return my call ASAP, she never called I had to call her back and she insinuated I purchased it in that condition, and I would have to pay a delivery fee for a replacement. I did send her pictures to verify there are two lamps and one was a clearance lamp. I had talked to Ms LaShae the day before which is the same day as the pickup 12/11/2021 and she said the same. I am so out done for the inconvenience and their lack of courtesy, I've shopped at this location before, Ms Derinda has been a wonderful salesperson, never have I experienced such carelessness from customer service. Can you please help resolve this matter, I am being highly disrespected as a customer I shouldn't have to keep paying for a delivery either way. Sincerely
