I was just there yesterday trying to get my mother’s antibiotics which have been a 3 day struggle due to the pharmacy’s claim that “they never got the prescription” or “you need to call your dr to clarify an error”. By the time I was there yesterday not only did I see a very slow service by the pharmacy staff but a line of very angry customers demanding why are they being lied to by the system saying their prescriptions are ready for pickup only to find out they don’t have it. There was one customer that was being verbally aggressive towards the staff about him being there for half hour when he was told 15 minutes. The way the staff handled him was abandoning him at a closed register by operating a new one; one of the pharmacy techs yelled back at the aggressive customer and I don’t know if there was a manager present but the way the staff handled the situation was very rude + poor communication to not only the customer but to others as well. This isn’t the first time I went through similar issue with the pharmacy claiming that they never received my prescription. Someone needs to investigate the staff because yesterday’s incident was very disturbing and unacceptable
CVS - Pharmacy prescription filling problem
On 6/24/2023 my husband went to walk in clinic and 2 prescriptions were ordered for him at 11:30 am. At 7:00 pm he went to the CVS in West Islip to pick them up and they had not be filled. He was told he could wait and they would fill them. He went back on 6/25/2023 to pick them up. Don't you think 7hours should be enough to fill 2 prescriptions? He was told they had 2 people on & over 1000 prescriptions.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response.
