Stop & Shop

On Friday 5/29/ 2020 I entered the Stop and Shop on Montauk Hwy in West Babylon, NY to buy groceries. .. The antiseptic wipe container was empty. I had no way to wipe down my cart or hands. ... hence, I left the store to go to a different store to shop. .. The manager at Stop and Shop said there are no more wipes available and hasn't had them for weeks. The Stop and Shop ad online says that they are doing everything to keep the customers safe. Not the case here on LI.The young people directing the flow of traffic in the store seemed very disinterested, smirked ... and smug. If the store can't provide the simplest of ppe for the customers or even provide the pharmacy workers with gloves as they said they can't even get a change in rubber gloves ... I can only imagine what is going on behind the scenes in that store. . I refuse to shop there anymore. No one seems to be trying to keep the place sanitary during this dreadful time as they have no supplies and don't seem to really care about the public or their emplyees. . Shame on Stop and Shop !
