General Motors - david chevrolet, niagara falls, ny

After my wife purchased an Equinox on December 18, 2018, we referred my daughter Lindsay to Al Bax. Al is a lifelong friend of mine since high school and thought we could trust him. Actually, that's the only reason we came back to David Chevrolet, we had a not so pleasant experience with our previous lease at your dealership. However, we trusted Al and he came through as expected with two options, $340.00, 12, 000 miles a year for 39 months or $340.00, 10, 000 a year for 36 months. Our lease agreement, $340.00 a month, 36 month term, 10, 000 miles per year, first month at time of signing. Al then said he would be able to get Lindsay the same deal ours was as long as she had a cosigner. When my wife cosigned papers, on December 26, 2018, she asked Brian if this was the same deal as hers, his answer was YES same deal. When Lindsay signed papers, she again asked if this was the same deal as her mothers, he answered yes, other than excess miles rolled in to payment, which was fair. What it turned out Brian switched term to 39 months. We were at dinner that night when we found out they switched Lindsay's term to 39 months. We looked into FTC, Cooling off Rule, which apparently doesn't apply. That all said, we will explore any and all options to handle this misrepresentation and as far as I'm concerned fraud. On an additional note, we were promised roof rack, which we don't have and Lindsay's radio is having trouble, when she called the service department, they told her to call Al Bax. After our household have leased 6 cars from David Chevrolet we have two new Equinox, one not delivered as agreed to and the other with a malfunctioning radio. They owe my daughter the three extra months over charge $1, 077.00
