I brought my granddaughter who is 12 to get her 2nd covid vaccination at Walgreens at 275 Broadway, Amityville N.Y. I was told by the tech after waiting for 1 hour that she could not get the vaccine because I was not her legal guardian. I brought her for the first shot with no problem and no mention that a parent had to be present. The application was previously filled out online and the insurance information was given. This tech told me to make another appointment and since this is a time sensitive issue I told her I was not leaving without my granddaughter getting vaccinated. I called her father pulled him out of work and when he arrived we waited an additional 45 minutes, by the way she was not vaccinating anyone and was behind the counter wasting time I guess she was annoyed. When receiving the vaccine the tech was rough and pushed the vaccine too quickly which created a lump, my granddaughter had tears in her eyes and said that the injection was very painful and that she never experienced such a painful shot. Next day we received a call from her school to take her home she said her arm hurts so badly she feels like it is broke. The unprofessionalism exhibited was astounding by the tech and I hope she is terminated so that another little girl doesn't have this experience. My granddaughter's name is Simone Teichman her appt. was on Dec.1 at 4:20 at the above address. I also called the store and spoke to a manager about this horrible experience. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. A very upset grandmother.
Desired outcome: termination
