I came in with a reward for a free small chili and a $2 off a combo offer. I know that both of these can work together as they are separate benefits.
I made a mistake and did not load the reward to the card properly before scanning. I asked to scan it again and she would not cancel the scan. I asked to just do the transaction over and she said she could not cancel a transaction, which cannot possibly be true. I asked again. She called her manager over and they started insulting me in spanish. I raised my voice and used the f word and both manager and cashier started laughing. I told them they needed to fix their mistake and they continued to laugh at me. They refused corporate contact. And when I called the store to get my points and offers fixed they hung up on me.
I understand that I yelled. But I do not take very kindly to having someone talk to me like im stupid and then laugh in my face.
Claimed loss: points on my card and an offer to save a little money.
Desired outcome: i want an apology from the staff that insulted me and i would like my points back. i would like those employees trained in customer care
