I purchased makeup palettes at one location and when I got home I noticed one of the palettes was cracked. It was the last one so I went to different location. They too did not have &I was told as long it was same brand same price I could exchange w/o issue. Register not set for the sale of 50% off and wanted to charge me more money. My online phone app as well as the store price check reflected the 50% off all Lorac makeup items for this date 3/13/2021. Not helpful and chose not to assist. Customer service bounced me back to the front. It was sad to see how many items that had been tested with obvious fingerprints on the shadow colors that were not removed from the shelf during a time of COVID-19 and a direct hazard.
It is the mistreatment of minorities and just ignoring what I'm saying about an obvious sale advertised by Kohl's that has me annoyed beyond belief. The East Brunswick location is just below the standard of customer service.
Desired outcome: Forget about the palette exchange, I would like an apology.
