Jackson Hewitt - 2022 tax return/refund

Jackson Hewitt (2785 Charlotte Hwy Unit 27, Mooresville, NC 28117)

My 1st contact was Libby for the Early Refund Advance, received $500 after a 2nd trip to understand why it didn't go thru. Libby went out on medical leave. My 2nd contact was Andrew. Spoke on the phone upload W2, he sent the doc via email. I signed and sent it back.

**Not one time did Andrew say anything about I will be denied for the Refund Advance Loan for signing virtually. I made several calls to Andrew at the office to find out what was going on and he still wasn't able to provide a valid explanation.

**I had to call Republic Bank and Trust myself and find out the reason for not receiving the $1500 as indicated in my text message that I was pre-approved for. So according to Republic Bank, it was denied because it needed to be completed in-office, not virtually.

**I've been having my taxes completed by Jackson Hewitt since 2018 or 2019, when they dealt with Meta Bank, now this Republic Bank and Trust is a total rip off.

**I recently received a text stating my Federal tax refund has been received and your check will be mailed to the address on file and should be rec'd in the next 7 business days. To unsubscribe, reply STOP.

**I called over to the JH office spoke with Andrew once again.

**AGAIN, he wasn't able to provide any information about why they sent the text and also stated that it shows in the system a check will be mailed out. **My thoughts..."Why would a check be mailed out? When I have DIRECT DEPOSIT on my tax docs.

**I received a letter from Republic stating that my application was incomplete. What application? was my thoughts.

**Mind you, I requested for my Federal tax refund to be direct deposited into my personal bank account (where the $500 was deposited) and now they sending a check?

**One thing for sure and two things for certain...I will NOT be returning to Jackson Hewitt in the future to complete my taxes.

**They charge too much for entering the information into the system.

**I can go back to doing themself and still get my FULL refund in the same amount time as if I had Jackson Hewitt to do them.

**The only thing I wanted was the Early Refund Advance and the Loan portion.

**I will be placing this same review on Jackson Hewitt website and the complaint site as well.

**This has been the 2nd worst Jackson Hewitt experience that I have had and I will also share on the social media platform.

Desired outcome: I would like to have the Regional Manager to please email me and provide some sort of resolution. This is unacceptable.
