Walgreens

Store is at corner of Hope Mills Rd and Camden Rd, Hope Mills, NC. Was told that to get a certain drug, the insurance co. would have to give a pre approval. Not a problem. Contacted BC/BS on wen 7/14/21 they said it was approved and could be picked up shortly. On 7/15/21 I called Walgreens store at 3 pm. Was told it would be ready in about 1 hour. I arrived at the drive thru @ 4pm. 35 minutes later, I finally got to the pickup window and was told in no uncertain terms that it would be ready at 4:40 pm. The sign on the pickup window states that you can get your prescription in 30 minutes or less. I could not even get thru the line in 30 minutes or less. TOTAL LIE!. This prescription was approved the day before and was still not ready 24 hours later. The person at the window was also very rude. I will look for another pharmacy. I drive 15 miles each way to use this store, and that's not for the prices. Customer service used to be good, but not for at least the last 8 months. Sad.
