On the 26th of February, my husband and I ate at the Waffle house in Horn Lake, Ms., I do realize that all business are busier than ever. We ordered the all star meal. The eggs, and hash browns were brought to me, either the server forgot my bacon and waffles or the cook was behind. by the time I got my order, my eggs and hash browns were cold. I had asked for crisp bacon, so she took it back and needless to say it was longer than ever. My husband got most of his order but not his side order of bacon, sausage and waffle. The whole service was awful. The lady preparing the waffles was not putting enough spray on the grill so naturally the waffles were sticking, she would just take the crumble part of the waffle and put it on the plate, then flip it over with the good side showing. I'm glad I was sitting where I could see, i"m glad my waffles were not like that, but I think she knew I was watching her. One lady standing in front of us scratched in her ear with her finger, she must have realized what she had done, she wipe her finer on her apron and kept on working. The entire prep area needs attention. My husband is better that me, he left a 50 cent tip, I was prepared to leave 1 penny. People these days only care about making a little money. I will never eat there again. There are to many other places. The only reason we went was because Crackel Barrell was to busy. Also customers really don't want to hear about the workers personal business and what happened the night before. Some of the conversations were embarrassing to hear. I'm a senior citizen, been around a long time, I use to eat at the waffle house many years ago and I never remember the place looking so unkept. It's not a prety sight to see.
Desired outcome: Workers need better training, need to wear gloves when and if possible, workers should not be handling money then turn around and handle food. Keep the prep sation cleaned.
