This shopping trip started off well. I have a handicap sticker due to sevearl issues with my health. The greeter was a very nice gentleman and told us that since we were parking in the handicap parking, that we could just come back to the entrance door instead of having to walk all the way back to the Lumber Door.

My wife and I were shopping at Hattiesburg Home Depot last evening. We had several items selected and in our buggy. We were looking for our last item we needed and stopped by customer service when we encountered the lady working the counter. We needed help in finding the last item. She seemed mad that we asked and then sent us on a wild chase through several aisles. The item we were looking for was straight across from her vantage point. She was rude and not helpful at all. We selected our final item and self checked out without any problems.

We then began I exit and went to the door where the gentleman had suggested we come back out that door so we wouldn't have to walk to the other end of the store. We heard someone screaming from somewhere back in the store. It was the same lady at the service department. We tried to explain what the gentleman had told us but we were told that we had to exit through the lumber door. The re-direction wasn't the issue, but the manner in which she addressed us was unacceptable. She should be reprimanded for the manner in which she talked to 2 soon to be 70 Senior Citizens. It left a horrible example of customer service and will impact our future visits to the store.

We aren't complainers, but her attitude was horrendous. I'll think twice before going to Home Depot again.
