My pharmacy on Butternut Drive in Holland Michigan, gave my psychotropic medications to someone else with out my permission. This caused me to go with out my medication and caused me humiliation and a violation of my trust and privacy. The person who picked up my prescription, with a name similar to mine, happened to tell her friend about getting the wrong prescription and her friend was a former neighbor of mine. He told me what happened right away, complete with pictures sent to him by his friend of her with my prescriptions. This is the second time that this location has mixed up my prescriptions and last time resulted in me becoming ill after taking medications that were prescribed to someone else but given to me. I am very upset. I called the corporate office for my area and was told that they would follow up with me within 48 hours and it has been a week with no word from them. I tried the live chat option and the pharmacy tech, Ashley, told me to "google" my issue for a solution and when I asked her for a contact email for someone that could help me, she ended that chat after ignoring me for 5 minutes. I tried to get back on the live chat and waited for an hour before giving up. I have used only Walgreens pharmacies for my entire adult life. I am appalled at the lack of concern for my health, welfare and lack of respect for my privacy. This is unacceptable. I need to know who I can speak with that will address this issue and resolve it.
