Store 10428 assistant manager Shawnee Bulgins is unbelievable. We have lost many employees because no one wants to work with her. On Saturday December 26, 2020 I was asked to work my day off. Went in at 9 am. after doing the primary closings till 12:00 am. for the holidays. Was working around helping in anyway possible. Was putting a floating frame together when a customer pushed the button for photo. I called out I would be the right there as I put the last pieces together. She came around the corner and snapped to help her out. When I responded the same way back with' I was on my way'. (This has happened many times). She then informed me that I don't do anything asked of me without getting upset. As in the past I informed her she gets what she dishes out. Once again was given a far fetch apology that she didn't snap at me first. Then because I refused the apology she said she was sorry and I should be understanding. At the same time this was happening, an employee that had called off the day before came in and handed her shirts in. That morning she was trying to figure out how to discipline this woman. After the woman handed in her shirts she got mad because the woman was her opening cashier the next day. (Can't have it both ways, woman gone on her own or let go because of excessive call offs.)
I've been with Walgreens going on 6 years. I'm pretty flexible and cover most shifts asked of me. I try to work hard to get things accomplished when I'm there. I'm fairly knowable about most of the daily tasks. I still have things to learn and am willing to learn. I will admit when I'm wrong.
I will not be treated like a loser. I will not be spoken to as a prison guard to inmates. She seems to think strong handling people will get her way. Other employees have confronted her and the manager Sean Tipton of her aggressive behavior.
Shawnee also claims she's going to call the district manager Amanda about things Sean is doing. Putting him down whenever possible. She doesn't like it when people talk about her. That's an insult for she does the same.
