Black & Decker - 14k portable air conditioner

S/N BPACT14HWT321800735. I reported it's failure on Aug. 22, 2019 to the customer service number under warranty at 844-299-0879. I was told a new unit would be shipped on three different occasions. I finally go a "supervisor's" name in the United States—Susan Westerville 929-265-3662. She does not answer her phone and refuses to return my numerous calls in which I leave my phone number.

Same problems with Automatic voicemail on the phone number I was directed to by C/S agent. Not responsive. My portable a/C stopped working slightly after one year of warranty. Wasn't cheap... No service, no help...

I purchased a Black & Decker window Air Conditioner. I was able to speak to an agent. The problem I encountered was not lack of responsiveness on B & D part but that I was asked to get the SERIAL NUMBER from the A/C unit to give to agent. At first I couldn't find a serial number. on the outside area of unit or on the inside part of the installed unit. I called again to find out where the number would be located. After struggling (I am 71 years old BTW) to find a number anywhere on the outside of the housing unit, I had to get a ladder to do a close inspection. I had been told by agent to look for a white or silver tag on the side or bottom of unit. I found a small white paper with Alphabet letters and some numbers located on the inside of the outer housing that protruded from the back side of the unit. It was difficult to find and see behind the air venting where it was located. I did my best to take a photo with my phone but only could get a portion of the numbers. I would say to please have the serial and model number located in a convenient place where a customer can easily read the information. C. Jung
