I am disabled. I have burns covering parts of my body, pins in my ankle, and a rod in my back. I have an awkward stance and walk. When it is very cold or when precipitation is coming, I can feel it. At approx 6:50pm, I walked into save a lot, went towards the produce section and needed info off of my phone. The security lady who was standing by the front counter, which was behind me, proceeded to loudly inform me that "you can't stand like that on camera". Assuming that I was on some opioid I guess. Her statement was followed by customers focusing their attention on me to see what she was talking about. I was so very embarrassed. I proceeded to turn my body towards her and display my phone, which I should never feel as if I have to explain myself to anyone. This event was so hurtful, especially since I used to patronize this establishment daily. I will go to Aldi from now on, whenever possible. I hope this will never happen to another patron, nobody should have to feel shame for having, or have to explain their disability.
