On Wednesday February 28,2024 around 6:15pm I went to Citi trends in west side shopping center Baltimore, MD. I am a born Muslim I had my hijab on as I walked in they told me take my hoodie off I did but underneath I had my hijab so I told them for religious purposes I can’t take it off so I continue to start shopping, so one of the workers proceeded running fast after me telling me for her safety I would have to leave I told her again it’s for religious purposes and she still continued to be rude ask me to leave as the worker in the register screamed slurrs threatening to slap me because I was recording the incident! I am crying I was born in America and never experienced this no one ever kicked me out their store because of my religious hijab and call it unsafe I have it all recorded I am mortified!
