T.J. Maxx - poor customer service

My husband and I went to TJ Maxx to purchase slacks for him - he selected 4 pairs and went into the fitting room. I was returning something and followed him to the fitting room. The obnoxious woman in charge of the fitting room banged on the door and told me "You stay out here!" pointing to a corner. So I started to walk towards the jewelry counter which was across the aisle - she kept yelling "YOU STAY HERE!" Like she was ordering a dog around. When all I wanted to do was make sure the slacks my husband was trying on looked good.

I love all the good deals I've gotten at TJ Maxx over the years, but this was the most horrible experience I've had an any retail establishment - if this is how TJ Maxx is training their employees, I'll go to a real department store and pay full price just to get better service.

While I might attest some of this to a language barrier, that was incredibly rude and you should have complained about it to a manager so the associate can be retrained.

You know why she told you to "stay there" is because its a MENS dressing room, would you feel comfortable as a woman changing to see a man looming outside the stalls. My guess is no, so why should you be treated any different? Seriously takes less then two seconds for him to come out the rooms to show you the slacks, why so sensitive?
