Today when ordering my online order I chose to pick up my order between 6-7pm. I was called at 5:55 and told I was not to come pick up my order until after 7. I asked why I needed to pick up my order after the time I had chosen. Kim in a VERY rude manner told me it was due to staff shortages. I understand, I've worked in customer service. When I arrived to pick up my order I waited around 10 minutes. When I got all the way home I noticed that more than half of my order was missing/cancelled. When I called to discuss what had happened Kim yelled that there was nothing she could do about something being out of stock. I asked why I wasn't informed and why the quantity of another product didn't match what I ordered. She began raising her voice and I told her she had been rather unpleasant to deal with from the very start and asked if I could speak to someone else. She said she would call me back when she had my order pulled up on the computer. She called back 15-20 min later and refunded me 2.50. I've worked in the service industry since I was 15. This woman has no business being in customer service if this is how she is going to treat customers. I will not be using this stop and shop again. I am unsure if I am willing to return in general after such outrageous treatment.
