I am writing to file a complaint. The CVS that I normally go to has had several issues over the last year or so. First being, customers are asked to wait 1-2 days or longer prescriptions. Second, most recently, 12/19, I went in to pick up a prescription. The person who rang out my order informed me that the reigster had "frozen" and that she needed to get help. When the Pharmacist came over to assist he informed me that my order had not gone through and that he needed to ring it up again. I asked, are you sure? I don't want to get over charged". He said "no it did not go through". He proceeded to scan my order again. Today 12/22, as I was reconciling my Flexible Spending account, to my dismay I noticed that my prescrptions were in fact input twice into the system, which resulted in me being charged twice. I understand things happen, but this Pharmacy needs to get it's act together. Not sure if they are understafffed or ill equipped, but something needs to be done. I will be changing my household prescriptions to Walgreens if I don't see improvements soon.
I would appreciate a response and I also want to be reimbursed for the duplicate charge.
