Days Inn - Hotel room

We booked a room for two days at the Days Inn on 1620 North University Ave in Lafayette LA and we booked the room on 8/27/2020 thru Priceline.com. We were in desperate need of the room for these days because we evacuated from Lake Charles, LA due to hurricane Laura. Upon arrival to the hotel we were informed that we didn't have a room because the hotel was over booked but no one called and said anything to us about this. The front desk clerk said that she informed Priceline about this issue but the people at Priceline still showed we had a reservation for the room and the people at Priceline said they were unaware of any such issue.
