Travelling with my daughter and two grandchildren, we booked two rooms through Wyndam Rewards on 07/17/19. Upon arrival and check in there was a distinct odor in the lobby. The room assigned to my daughter and grandchildren had standing water on the floor and was not usable. She was re-assigned a room but the lock on the door was broken and she could not secure the door. As a family we could not stay there. We were at the motel for roughly 15 minutes and left. We were told the reservations were cancelled and we would receive credit back for the rooms. We stayed at a Red Roof Inn that night instead. However, this motel charged us the next day for the rooms and lied to the credit card company saying that we stayed in the rooms. This was dishonest.
