Thieves. They stole my earnest money, and sold my unit for a higher price. They are an awful company. Don’t trust them. Horrible construction. They market their homes at the Everton Flats as a “Clubhouse a community” which is a complete and total lie. These people are unethical deceptive thieves who are irrational money hungry con artists. I was willing to compromise and let them keep half my money. They had nothing to loose. They claimed their was a wait list. They raised the prices of the remaining townhouses by a minimum of $50k. So my $15K earnest money was nothing to them. However, they didn’t care that they stole $15k from a single mother who was a victim of domestic abuse and just lost her home to her abuser and put down every last penny she had for a new place to live for herself and her two boys. They have no shame. They offered that I could apply the earnest money to one of their other developments up the street or the other about 30 miles away. Neither within the school district for my children. This was not an option. They stole my money because their staff did not get my email asking for an extension. They took my money because their incompetent lender could not qualify me for a loan within the timeframe required by them. They failed and they took my money. They are not trustworthy.
