Cracker Barrel

We dine at the Cracker Barrell in Forsyth, Illinois frequently. The last few times we have not been happy with our meals, but last eve we decided to give it another chance and four of us ate there.
Our friend, Jerry, had southern fried chicken and it was so very dark and hard as a rock. He tried to eat it and ended up just tearing it up and sending it back on his plate...His wife told the waitress and the supervisor came over to correct our bill due to an error in the bill and we told her about the chicken being over done and perhaps they had refried what was left from lunch? She said she was sorry about that.
I had the turkey and dressing that is the Thursday special. The turkey had no taste and the STOVE TOP DRESSING had pocket of seasoning in it that was distasteful. I have had the entry before and loved it. Have we changed the cooks or method of preparing?
We will not be going back for awhile as we have tried to give them a second chance before complaining and we rarely complain about anything as we are not hard to please.
