If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not purchase anything from the Buford Ashely HomeStore! They appear to be nice and friendly when you are purchasing but have not consideration for their customers. They sell you items not informing you that they are on back order and then when your delivery date is delayed, they tell you that there system showed in in stock but the warehouse is separate and is the one that contacts you about that actual delivery. Contacting the corporate office is a necessity. However, they leave it up to the store to provide compensation for your inconvenience of deliver delays and misinformed inventory. I spoke with the manager at the Buford store who resulted to the policy signed when you purchased the item and PAID for delivery as the excuse in addition to not being aware of the warehouse operations. However, she was dismissive and unashamed at the unprofessional business practices employed at the Ashley HomeStore. She was very okay with losing a customer due to these practices and unconcerned of the inconvenienced caused. They must have been getting away with these kind of practices for some time but hopefully, this will help people to go somewhere else for your purchases as I have, you have much better options with companies that actually appreciate their customers and are intentional about seeing them return.
Ashley HomeStore - Product delivery
On Feb 12. 2021, I purchased a sofa and love seat at the Buford, Ga store. I was told it was out of stock, but should be in within 2-3 weeks, 8 weeks worst case. After no word we called the store and talked to a rude customer service employee that basically told us that the order had been pushed out another 4 weeks to May. They offered no possible resolution other than us to be patient.
Concern is that in May they be just push it out to June.
Desired outcome: Give us the floor model until they can fill the order
We are having the same issue. Is this company solvent?
