I am a nurse with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. It is necessary for us to connect with the Pharmacy often to better serve or Patients. This location does not answer the phone. Even though the Provider option is selected, we stay on hold for up to one hour before disconnecting. If we continue to call we are automatically connected to the voicemail, which does not help, when we are needing to review a Patients profile. This isn't just every now or then. This is every single time we call. As a matter of fact, I am writing this review while I am on hold. It has been 44 minutes so far. My patients have told me they have the same problem and have been told by the staff, "We do not answer the phone. If you need something you will need to come in to the pharmacy." This is not acceptable!
Desired outcome: DO NOT PLACE HOSPITALS AND CLINICS ON HOLD FOR A HOUR! IF WE SAY WE NEED TO SPEAK TO THE PHARMACY STAFF, DO NOT CONNECT US TO VOICEMAIL!
