Hello,
I submitted a mobile order on 1/4/2024 at around 1 pm. I chose this 'time-saving' option because I was in a time constraint. I was en route and no more than 15 minutes away from the restaurant once the order was placed and paid for.
When I arrived at the drive-through, the line was long but I was reassured that my app updated my location and my wait would not extend the typical wait in the drive-through line. Once I reached the employee who was taking orders outside, she did not readily find my mobile order right away. Once she did I was a little taken aback that our food hadn't been started which is the opposite of what the app states would occur upon my arrival.
When I reached the drive-through window, the employee AGAIN did not find my order and had to have another employee come to the kiosk to locate it. I was then told that one of our sandwiches would take an additional FOUR TO FIVE minutes to prepare!? I was then directed to the "VIP" parking spot to wait. I was extremely disappointed as it was OBVIOUS and apparent that my mobile order was not processed upon my arrival. Surely I was waiting in the drive-through for longer than 4 to 5 minutes and there is no reason why I would have had to wait additional time, especially since I took the time and effort to place a mobile order.
Placing an order ahead of time is supposed to alleviate these issues and I assume I would have been better off ordering at the drive-through to begin with. I demand a full refund of $37.31!
