Chick-fil-A - Sexual harassment/ discrimination.

On January 13, 2024, my child was sent home from work due to allegations. My son is 17 years old and has been working for Chick fila for almost two years and has never been in trouble. He is a straight A student, who doesn't give me any issues at home or get into problems. Chick fila in the Haywood Mall Greenville, SC got a new management team. Keith Jones is the manager and I spoke to him on January 12, 2024, about my son's schedule because he was set to work on Friday and my sons schedule is just Saturdays. He can work weekdays only if he is out of school, that was the agreement when he got hired. Keith had issues with me calling and said that my son had to put it in the app. My son had put it in the app and let them know in person that he was not able to. That's why I stepped in. Today January 13, 2024, when my child calls me and says, "they are sending me home", I was confused. We went and picked him up and talked to him and he explained to us what happened, I decided to talk to Keith. Keith was very disrespectful and passive. He said they have an investigation going and asking all employees what happened. But they are making it look like my child was at fault. The two kids are at fault for saying things to each other and why isn't the other person being sent home? He also said I was not the police and that my child is his employee. Well first of all my child is still underage. So yes, I am going to defend him. They were accusing my child of sexual harassment. My son and the girl exchanged words. She said something to him, and he said something back. I'm going to also file a sexual harassment because the girl did not just say words to him, she touched him. There are cameras and you can look back at them if there was any touching. I know my child, my child said he did not touch her at any point and time, I believe him. Keith said that the allegations came out January 1, 2024, and they had not said anything, my son found out today. I didn't want to make a big deal, but Keith was not just nasty to me and my husband but also to my child. His smart comments "you're not the police and I don't have to talk to you, you're not my employee". But that is my child, and he is still underage. You still have to follow the rules with underage children. You have to also ask for permission to interrogate a child who is underage. Keith runs a completely unprofessional environment, and my child will not be part of a company like this.

Desired outcome: If they are going to fire my son, the girl needs to go too. Keith needs to be put on probation and investigated.
