My wife and I have sold our house that has ADT installed. ADT installed the equipment in 2011. We sold the house and are moving into an Independent Living Location that has 24/7 security, so we will no longer need personal household security.
We are in our third 5 year contract renewal and are being charged $425 for terminating the current contract "early". Seems having 2 contracts fully used would waive this fee. Apparently not.
Also, today (Sept 12, 2023) I called to cancel and it will not cancel for 30 days!
Lots of fine print and little common sense.
Tried to complain to ADT but web site does not provide a link.?
Desired outcome: Like $425 to be waived as we have been an active paying on time customer of ADT for over 10 years.
