I initially purchased a Mattress, Futon and what appeared to be an amazing Living room Set. When delivered my living room set was dirty, I had to call the fabric insurance to come out an clean it. In a matter of 3 months my living room set had looked as if it was 5 years old. The ottoman was sagging with no support and the material they used had quickly become dingy and fuzzy. When I called to complain, initially I was offered new seat cushions. When I showed up to the store to retrieve cushions they were not available. So in my complaining fit they offered to give me a new set equal to the cost of the original set, I thought that fair. So I picked out 2 100% leather reclining chairs. It has now been about 4 months and the leather is peeling… WTF. Again they offered to give me new couches…why so I can go through this again in 3 more months. Had I known the products they sold not of a good quality I would have never purchased from them.
Sales people were pushy and dishonest.
Customer Service was overworked and was not very helpful.
Sadly I used RAC to purchase my products and when you are paying 3x’s the sale price you want what you buy to last you a good 10 years at least.
Learned lesson you get what you pay from in this case I got NOTHING.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
American Signature Furniture - deception
9/2/08 I spent 254.80 at signature furniture store. I bought 2 5' tall bookstands and a single bed frame.
I took the bed frame home.
The 2 bookstands were to arrive in a few days. However, when I called about them I was told they could not get them. Sorry.
They did credit back into my account $211.86..(This was what I paid for the 2 book cases minus the bed frame )and all of this is correct.
Today I went back to inquire whether they had the white book stands in 6' . This is what happened
they had the white book stands in the 5' model. I did buy them however, they raised the price and now I had to pay $256.78 for the same book stands they had sold me previously for 211.86.
They claim they have no knowlege of my previous transactions. However I have the documentation on my Bank of America site.
I think they decided it was not cost effective to sell the stands for the original price and cancelled out my order. May I add the salesman found they had 20 of them in stock.
I think while this may not be the biggest thing they could be doing it should be noted they are doing this. I would happily supply documentation that this was done.
