The Pep Boys

I brought my 2015 Corvette to the Pep Boys location located at 11460 W Colonial Dr, Ocoee, FL 34761 for a simple brake inspection. After driving my vehicle for a few minutes the technician returned and I walked outside to watch him bring the car into the bay. While attempting to lift the car in the air using the facility's standard lift the arm of the lift on the passenger rear side of the car dug into the body causing the car to tilt toward the driver's side and damaging the paint and body work on both sides of the car. After lowering the car down the technician told me that he knew it was not the correct lift for the car and the shop would not be able to perform any work, but the damage had already been done. I received a claim number and proceeded to take my car to a body shop as directed by the receptionist at Pep Boys by her manager. The estimate for the repair is nearly $1900 and I have not received any communication from Pep Boys corporate as of yet. I have pictures of the arm digging into the body as well as all of the damage and the written estimate.
