On August 13th to 21st 2019, I was a guest at Travelodge Motel in Jacksonville, Florida near the airport.
The employee service was excellent. Upon arrival it was stated to me that every morning the Travelodge guest would have breakfast available to all guest. I went to my room 114 to unpack. The chairs were torn, stained and disgusting. The over head light was burning out, the phone did not work the whole stay, the sheets were dingy, no hot water the whole stay. I reported these things to the front desk employee. And no breakfast the next morning for anyone not even coffee, tea or milk. And what could be corrected was with pleasure and VER polite smiles. Needless to say I did not enjoy my stay nor was I able to have family come to the room to pick me up. But I think the worst part was the filthy furniture and no hot water.
This complaint was originally sent to the UK because that was the only visible address. Therefore, they were polite and stated my complaint should be addressed by the US parent company. I hope this is the correct complaint office.
I am requesting a full refund or accommodations of the same length. And not necessarily in Florida.
I've stayed in Travelodge's before but this was a first and worst I have experienced. No hot water this is a multi million dollar business.
I can't provide pictures of the mine working phone or the hot water but here is the chairs. I could get an accurate photo of the sheets but they were dingy.
