I visited the Hearing Center at Costco 8000 Paramore Rd, Jacksonville [protected] and after seeing the specialist at his recommendation, I purchased what he said was the best model, the Kirkland Signature, a cover up and envelop model by Siemens Hearing Instruments. I bought one costing $1800 in the summer of 2019.
I have gone back to the Costco Hearing Center to have them cleaned and/or adjusted with every visit to Costco. Lately I have visited the Specialist August 18, September 15, November 19 and already again in 2021. Apparently, my hearing has declined. The Specialist at the hearing center now suggests another model, the Phonak for better hearing at a cost of $1499. This model will better address my severe hearing loss.
I am requesting some sort of adjustment toward the new set of hearing aids as I only had the first pair for little over one year. I am 79 years old and another $1400 when only on social security is a hardship. I have had a Costco membership for 30 years.
