I have been getting my haircuts at Great Clips for over 20 years, and at my local salon for the past seven years. I just experienced the worst haircut ever. This occurred at approx 1pm on Sat, March 6, 2021. I wanted to complain to the mgr but she then told me she is the mgr. I did not get her name.
It got off on the wrong foot when she described the instructions in their computer, which were not accurate so I explained how it was done the prior time. She got defensive about it and apparently ignored me considering how it turned out. I had told her at the beginning that its to be very short around the edges, shorter than the 1/2" that a #4 would leave, as her computer notes said. She also never mentioned or asked how the neckline was to be cut, which she cut square and now looks weird on me. I reminded her that it was to be shorter than the sides. Her response was that not everything is in the computer so you should mention it. Why not ask then? She abruptly said she was done and refused to finish, saying the hair cut was on her. Apparently her way of dealing with an unhappy customer rather than listening and admitting a mistake. I don't want a free haircut, I want my haircut done exactly like the prior cut, which had been perfect.
She had a real attitude from the start when I insisted their computer notes were wrong and was very defensive about anything I tried to explain, as If I was wrong and their notes were right.
Desired outcome: I need my haircut fixed with a public apology
