Regarding the CVS Pharmacy at 1605 Telegraph Road in Wilmington Delaware…just last week I received TERRIFIC customer service while IN the store. The pharmacist went above and beyond to help me get a printout of my prescriptions I needed for a visit with a new doctor, and I REALLY appreciate it.
But now I’m simply trying to find out if this new prescription, for which I have been waiting over a week, is really ready for pickup. The automated system said 2 days ago that it would be ready today after 9, but when I called today it didn’t mention it at all.
When I called I couldn’t get through to anyone in the pharmacy because the new phone system will only allow you to leave a voicemail. And I don’t want to drive over there for nothing!
I called back and spoke with someone at the register who wasn’t willing to provide good service by walking back to the pharmacy and asking for me or connecting me directly to the pharmacy phone line.
Desired outcome: Have: a choice on the phone menu between leaving voicemail or speaking with pharmacy; accurate information on the automated system; consistently good customer service
