CVS - High value coupons are difficult or impossible to redeem

Every month or so, CVS sends a coupon for 25% off your total order and every time I use it I run into problems. It won't scan at the self-scan machine (says the salesperson, "Oh those don't work there. You have to come up here..." and then I have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes as they try to scan, cancel, rescan the coupon.

I hear the usual excuses, "Coupon value is only good up to $99." Right, I am only spending $60. 25% off 60 is $15. Or "This doesn't work with sale items." Right, I only picked non-sale items.""There it worked."No, you just applied my extracare dollars. And on and on.

Today I had the manager and the salesperson squinting at the coupon and back at the register,"well... we can't just give you 25% off..." then eyeing me, hoping I will just pay or leave.

They try their best but it seems like a big bait and switch to me. CVS sends a great coupon, makes it difficult to redeem and hopes we will still buy the things we picked out. I just left $70 worth of merchandise on the CVS counter and am now headed to Amazon after I send this email.

C'mon CVS, train your staff, make your coupons equitable and provide better customer service. I had to come to this site to find an email since your website only offers a SNAIL MAIL address to write to.
